Getting Here & Around
- Port Credit GO Station puts downtown Toronto about 20 minutes away by train.
- QEW access is close by for driving into the city or elsewhere in the GTA.
- Walkability is one of the neighbourhood’s biggest draws. Much of the village, waterfront, shops, and restaurants are walkable from most homes and condos in the core.
- MiWay transit connects Port Credit to the rest of Mississauga.

Port Credit Secondary School, the neighbourhood’s public high school on Mineola Rd E, is one of the oldest schools in Peel Region, established in 1919. It’s home to two regional programs: the SciTech Program and the Strings Program, drawing students from across the wider area in addition to the local school boundary.
Beyond the secondary school, the broader Port Credit area is served by several public and Catholic elementary schools under the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, along with a handful of private school options nearby. Exact school boundaries can shift, so if schools are a priority in your home search, it’s worth confirming the specific catchment for any address you’re considering directly with the relevant school board.
