September is one of the best months to be in Port Credit, and this year’s lineup doesn’t disappoint. The Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival returns for its 28th year, bringing three days of live music right to the waterfront, with a few other community events rounding out the month.

28th Annual Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Port Credit Memorial Park. Headliners include Kim Mitchell, Blackberry Smoke, and a Slowhand: The Music of Eric Clapton tribute set. The Suzie Vinnick Band is confirmed to perform Saturday. Free stages plus a ticketed Main Stage; the free LIUNA Local 183 Street Shuffle street party runs Saturday 1–5 p.m. along Lakeshore Road East. Mississauga Music Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 10:45 AM at the World Stage in Port Credit Memorial Park, held as part of the Southside Shuffle. This year’s inductees are Emmy Award-winning composer Don Breithaupt and Guitar Workshop Plus founder Brian Murray. Free and open to the public. Portugalo Fest 2026 Saturday, September 19, 2026, 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM, at Port Credit Memorial Park. A free celebration of Portuguese heritage with music, food, and fado. Event page – Portugalo Fest
